Acorus gramineus 'Ogon' ( Golden Variegated Sweet Flag)
A bright golden variegated ornamental grass that is sun to shade tolerant. Low clumps of rich golden foliage emit a lemon-like aroma when crushed.

Nomenclature Notes: The name 'Acorus' is derived from the Greek word 'Acoron' meaning pupil. The terms was used by ancient Greek Physician Pedanius Dioscorides who began its use as an herbal remedy for inflammation of the eye. Acorus gramineus is native to Japan and Eastern Asia.
