Blush pink buds open to lavender-pink plumes atop shiny dark-green foliage. Key Largo is a vigorous Astilbe that just keeps on blooming! Ideal shade perennial for the front of the border or for container plantings.
USE FOR: Container plantings, foundation planting, perennial beds, edging, border plants. Plant en masse for maximum impact with Hostas, and other shade perennial plants.

CULTURAL NOTES: Plant in partial shade to full shade in evenly moist, rich, organic, well-drained soils. Astilbes require consistent irrigation, especially in the summer. Clean-up last years growth in the early spring, before new growth emerges.
Astilbe cultivars in the simplicifolia group are generally smaller-sized varieties, growing to 18 inches tall, which produces blooms that are star-like in appearance.
