USDA Certified Organic Sweet Genovese Basil Seeds
The classic sweet basil used for pestos, sauces, stews, fish and poultry dishes and so much more. When your plants do flower, scatter the tasty flowers on salads. An essential herb for your garden. Basil makes a wonderful container plant. To freeze basil for winter use: harvest during the summer when your basil crops peaks. Chop freshly harvested leaves finely and place in ice cube trays. Add enough water to fill and freeze. Place frozen basil cubes in zip lock bags and freeze until needed. One ice cube equals approximately 1 tablespoon of fresh basil.
CULTURAL NOTES: Sow sweet basil seeds directly outdoors in early spring, or start indoors for an early head start. Not frost tolerant! Pinch leaves and harvest often to promote a bushy plant, and clip flowers and use them on salads to keep the basil plant productive. Complete instructions are included with each seed packet.
FOR YOUR SECURITY WE NEVER SEE OR STORE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. YOUR CARD WILL BE CHARGED AUTOMATICALLY WHEN YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER.
