A sport of 'Sagae' Hosta, Ivory Coast achieves best coloration when provided with morning sunlight. The buttercup-yellow margins fade to ivory during the summer, while the jade centers maintain their rich color.

How to Grow Hosta: Easy to grow shade loving perennial plants, Hostas thrive in well-drained organic rich soil that is moist but not overly wet. Slugs and snails can be controlled by applying Sluggo Plus in the spring around the base of the plant. Check the size and variety of the Hosta before planting in ensure that sun exposure and planting area accommodate the variety. In the spring remove dead foliage and fertilize with a slow release organic fertilizer.
