The dark green foliage is attractive and glossy. While Mme. Lemoine lilac will tolerate shade, it produces blooms best in full sun. Plant Mme. Lemoine Lilac as a back of the border flowering shrub or use in mass to create a fragrant and flowering hedge or wind screen.
