A unique, xeric Sage, Platinum Salvia works in rock gardens or container plantings. Hot-blue flowers form on short spikes above soft gray foliage.

CULTURAL: Flowers on Salvia are long lasting and plants readily rebloom if deadheaded, or if sheared back after flowering. Once established, Salvia plants are drought tolerant. Avoid planting garden Sage in overly damp soil areas or where standing water is present. Provide consistent water the first season to establish a good root system. Shear back plants in the spring once new growth has started to emerge. Fertilize in the spring with a balanced organic slow-release fertilizer.
