Mentha spicata var. crispa Curly Spearmint is a delightful garden herb with very attractive curly edged, green foliage.  Curly Spearmint works wonders in the garden as an attractive ground cover when sufficiently controlled, or plant in patio containers. Most gardeners don't have any trouble growing it, but it can get away from you if you are not careful. We recommend growing all mints in a contained area or planting them in a large pot in the ground. All mints perform best when they are harvested or cut back at regular intervals. Remove old woody plants to allow newer, younger plants to fill in. This mint is grown and shipped in a 3.5" container.
