Mentha x suaveolens 'Pineapple Mint' is a wonderfully easy to grow garden herb that sports very attractive bi-color foliage. The highly aromatic leaves of Pineapple Mint emit a sweet fruity fragrance when crushed. Use Pineapple Mint for culinary uses such as mixed in with teas, breads, desserts or with fresh fruit such as strawberries. Excellent dried or fresh. Pineapple Mint will readily make itself at home in full sun to partial shade in moist soil. Most gardeners don't have any trouble growing it, but it can get away from you if you are not careful. We recommend growing all mints in a contained area or planting them in a large pot in the ground. All mints perform best when they are harvested or cut back at regular intervals. Remove old woody plants to allow newer, younger plants to fill in. This mint is grown and shipped in a 3.5" container.
