USDA Certified Organic Heirloom Cylindra Beet Seeds 1 ounce. A top seller at our farm! This tasty heirloom beet produces 5" long smooth cylindrical beets that are a deep rich red color. CULTURAL NOTES: Plant organic beet seeds in the early spring as soon as the soil can be worked. Plant successive crops 3 weeks apart until late summer. Beets prefer light porous soil, so do well in improved raised beds or in containers of organic potting soil. The results can be extremely gratifying! Beets are rich in Calcium, Iron, and Vitamins A, B, Niacin and C, plus: They are delicious! Complete growing instructions included on packet.
