Easy to grow and perfect for the short season gardener, Bitterroot Buttercup Squash has thick sweet orange flesh that is wonderful for late fall and winter meals. Enjoy these winter squash baked and served hot with organic butter and brown sugar! Christmas and Thanksgiving won't be the same without these delicious winter squash! CULTURAL NOTES: Sow in late spring after soil has warmed. Keep soil moist especially when squash are setting, and allow fruit to remain on vine until hard enough to resist scratching with your fingernail.
