A high yielding pole bean, Organic Blue Lake Pole Bean is a reliable old time favorite and a short season pole bean variety! Extremely disease resistant, these beans stay fresh and tasty long after they are harvested. Blue Lake Pole beans are ideal for eating fresh, canned, frozen or baked.
CULTURAL NOTES: Plant organic pole bean seeds in the spring after the soil has warmed and all danger of frost has passed. Don't plant too early into cold soil! Support pole beans with stout poles, fences, wires or trellises. Avoid overhead watering to reduce diseases common to beans.
