Long Purple Eggplant is a vigorous, high yielding Italian variety of eggplant with an oblong cucumber shape. Long Purple Eggplant performs exceptionally well in cold, northern gardening areas with reliable high yields. CULTURAL NOTES: Start seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before night temperatures stay above 50 degrees. Pick eggplant when glossy and dark purple.
