Painted Mountain Ornamental Corn is perfect for fall crafts, ornamental corn is also an heirloom flour corn and can be eaten like a sweet corn for a colorful late summer table treat. Fun for kids gardens, too! CULTURAL NOTES: Plant organic ornamental corn seeds in a sunny location just before last frost. Sow seeds in at least 4 side by side rows to insure good pollination. Plant every three weeks until early summer. Pick when silks turn brown and ears are full and firm. Pick, cook and eat the same day, or better yet, the same hour!
