Penstemon strictus is a partially evergreen, hardy native that produces 30" spikes of rosy-lavender blooms! Evergreen, tough, drought-tolerant native. Hardier and more reliable than most of the hybrid Penstemons and a great butterfly plant. Must have for early color show: bloom follows closely on Daffodils.
