Goldstar Potentilla grows to just under 2 feet tall and spreads to over 3 feet wide making it a wonderful selection for a heat tolerant and drought tolerant ground cover. The bright gold flowers bloom through the summer attracting bees and butterflies. Deer and rabbit resistant.

USE FOR: Low flowering hedge, mixed with perennial plants, ground cover, use on slopes or terraces, as an accent shrub or in containers.

CULTURAL NOTES: Plant Potentilla in a full sun location for best results. While Potentilla shrubs will tolerate heavy soil, they thrive in well drained soil with consistent irrigation throughout the growing season. The flowers are borne on the tips of new growth. Shear back Potentilla in the spring for shape, and prune out any dead-wood.
