Large, four-inch flowers the color of banana cream pie are produced all summer long. A deeper yellow than Broadway Lights Shasta Daisy, this new Leucanthemum shines in the perennial garden, and makes an excellent cut flower. A high petal count gives Banana Cream the appearance of being a double-petaled Shasta daisy. Deep green, cut leaf foliage is highly disease resistant.
USE FOR: Plant in containers, front of the border in perennial gardens, along walkways, in rock gardens, plant in mass for maximum impact. Deer resistant, attracts butterflies!

CULTURAL NOTES: Easy to grow, plant Shasta Daisies in well-drained soils with moderate fertility. Steer clear of Miracle-Gro, or other synthetic fertilizers, which are high in nitrogen that can cause plants to flop. Fertilize with slow release organic fertilizers such as Down to Earth All Purpose fertilizer. These tough perennial plants like it hot! For best results provide at least seven hours of direct sun.
