Cheerful pure white, flowers cover this compact Leucanthemum in the early summer, creating a flowering snowball in the garden. Plant Snowcap daisy in groups, in a flowering border, or in a semi-circle at the base of a fountain, or garden statuary. Deadhead to encourage reblooming. A sterile Shasta Daisy, Snowcap will not reseed in your garden, but can be propagated by division on 2+ year old plants.
USE FOR: Plant in containers, front of the border in perennial gardens, along walkways and paths, plant in mass for maximum impact. Deer resistant, attracts butterflies!

CULTURAL NOTES: Easy to grow, plant Shasta Daisies in well-drained soils with moderate fertility. Steer clear of Miracle-Gro, or other synthetic fertilizers, which are high in nitrogen that can cause plants to flop. Fertilize with slow release organic fertilizers such as Down to Earth All Purpose fertilizer. These tough perennial plants like it hot! For best results provide at least seven hours of direct sun.
