SPIRAEA GOLD FLAME is a stunning deciduous shrub with profuse neon pink flowers heads perched on arching stems. Showy lime green foliage tipped in red flames turns darker green as the season progresses. Gold Flame Spiraea prefers a part sun location, but will grow in full sun and grows to a mature size of 3 feet high by 3 feet wide. . Prune Gold Flame Spiraea in late winter to early spring to maintain a tidy shape. In the fall, Gold Flame Spiraea exhibits brilliant orange fall color. Spiraeas are a must have care-free, deer resistant staple for any hardy garden. Plant Spiraea Gold Flame as an accent plant or use to create a flowering hedge by placing 36" on center. This shrub is grown and shipped in a 1 gallon nursery trade container. Shrubs are properly trimmed back prior to shipping.
